NanoFCM Co., Ltd are delighted to announce that Ben Peacock has joined the company as an application scientist, and is based in our Nottingham facility.

In his new role, he is responsible for providing technical and scientific support to NanoFCM customers, as well as conducting experiments on Nano-Flow Cytometry instruments located in our Centre of Excellence.

Ben has recently graduated from the University of Sheffield with a PhD in Molecular Oncology, where he gained vast experience in extracellular vesicle research. His comparison of EVs secreted by oropharyngeal cancer highlighted the value of high-resolution platforms for EV characterisation and the need for molecular identification to pursue future EV research goals. We are confident that this interest and experience in the sciences will be an essential asset in his new role.

Ben’s manager had this to say about him:

“I have known Ben from his time as a PhD Student in Dr Stuart Hunt group at Sheffield University, and at the time was impressed by his deep understanding of the field of extracellular vesicles, and his ability to use complex instrumentation to produce and characterise complex sample preparations. He is a fantastic asset to NanoFCM in Europe, as he understands the challenges of comprehensive characterisation at the nano-scale, and is passionate about helping fellow scientists reaching their objectives.” Dr Dimitri Aubert, Managing Director, NanoFCM Co., Ltd
